Hey there folks,

if you live in Oregon, and like my stuff and great drinks, it’s a good thing, because I’m all over the place this month!  Well, in two places, but I cover North and South(ish) Oregon.  If you don’t live in oregon and like my stuff and great drinks, well, I apologize, but your travels will be well worth it.

Sunday, Sept. 12th 2010 – Tiki Night at Teardrop Lounge in Portland, OR

Yes, once again I hit the horsehoe-shaped stick at Teardrop for another night of festive delights.  This round, all drinks will be made with Trader Tiki’s syrups, with a number of new great drinks from the modern tiki movement, including the famed “Lift-Off!” from Fine Cooking magazine, Col. Blackheart’s punch, and others made with only the finest of juices, syrups, and rums.

Saturday, Sept 18th 2010 – Tiki Dinner at Marché in Eugene, OR

I’ve been working with the fine folks for a bit of a shindig down Eugene way.  It’s a bit of a “save the date” for now, as details are still forthcoming, but we’ll be having drinks and eats, featuring the many flavors of Trader Tiki’s Exotic Syrups.

Hey there you fine folks,

I’m just hanging out here in the wonderful weather with a few hundred of my favorite people on the planet at Tiki Oasis.

If you’re in the San Diego area, be sure to drop by tomorrow August 22nd from 10-4pm at the Crown Plaza in San Diego, where I’m selling syrups at the Tiki Marketplace.  The vendors are all open to the public, and there is some fantastic stuff!

I’d make this longer, but apparently some of the room parties are having “syrup emergencies”, and if you’re in stumbling distance, I deliver!

This Sunday is another Tiki Night at Teardrop Lounge! Featuring some of your favorite tropical drinks from times past and present! The menu is below. Trader Tiki’s syrups will be available, as well as copies of Beachbum Berry Remixed for only $20! It all starts Sunday at 5pm until the doors close.  See you there!

Join the rapscallions and ragamuffins of the Cocktail and Spirits Online Writers Group as we mix up new recipes, give “constructive” criticism, drunkenly blather about ourselves, and so on and so forth. I’ll also be available in the chat room to answer any questions about the syrups, tiki, and other fun stuff. The party starts at 7pm EST online, and goes until the last empty glass hits the bar.

Don’t have any of my syrups? Well it’s pretty hard to play the home game without them! Go to the Online Store to order some today!

Hey there folks out in internet la-la land,

hope the holidays, and switchover to the new year have been easy enough on your bank accounts and liver, because lo and behold we’ve got another Tiki Night at Teardrop Lounge coming up!

Seeing as the weather’s a bit “brisk” in the Pacific Northwest, this round is featuring two hot drinks: Don’s Own Grog, a coffee drink with lots of citrus peel, brown sugar, and of course rum, as well as the Hot Zombie, a roasty-toasty variation on Don the Beachcomber’s classic Zombie.  Other drink featured will be Three Dots and a Dash, Navy Grog, the Leilani Volcano, the classic Mai Tai, the venerable Nui Nui, and the Pearl Diver’s Punch.  We’ll see about getting some real pearls this time, choking hazard unintended.
