Cobra’s Fang

Cobra’s Fang

• ½ oz Lime Juice
• ½ oz B.G.Reynolds’ Falernum
• ½ oz Orange Juice
• ¼ oz B.G.Reynolds’ Passion Fruit Syrup
• ½ oz Dark Jamaican Rum
• ½ oz 151 proof Demerara Rum
• 1 dash Bitters
• 1 dash Grenadine
• 4 shredded mint leaves

Flashblend quickly in a blender with 6 oz crushed ice. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with fragrant mint.

    Will El Dorado 151 work, or must I scavenge for (the non-existent and likely an elaborate hoax) Lemon Hart 151?

    so this Lemon heart 151 stuff is a hoax!? I knew it! Those pictures had to have been fabricated.. I mean, a TRIANGLE? come on..

    Seriously though I have the same question. Is there another 151 demerara rum that would suffice for us common folk? thanks

    I’ve heard that Gosling’s 151 is a passable substitute. Thankfully there seems to be a strategic stock of both the 80- and 151-proof versions of Lemon Hart here in Portland, so we can stick with the real stuff. Bless you, liquor stores with foresight.
